Use these official Columbia County and Oregon routes:
- Court case files: contact Columbia County Circuit Court, 230 Strand Street, St. Helens, 503-397-2327; its counter hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Criminal histories and own-record copies: contact the Oregon State Police Criminal Justice Information Services Division
- Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact CCSO Support Services or Columbia County Jail at 901 Port Avenue
- Official background checks: order through the Oregon State Police Criminal Justice Information Services Division
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Oregon set-aside filings: use current OJD forms and file with the court connected to the qualifying case or event

Its posted records hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Sunday service is 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a noon to 12:30 p.m. closure. The jail information line is 503-366-4630. Nonjudicial county requests may also go through the Custodian of Records, 230 Strand Street, Room 331, at 503-397-4322.
